Inaugural Panther Alumni Week

PAW 2014

FIU held its inaugural Panther Alumni Week (PAW) on February 3-7, 2014, during which time alumni spoke to our students. As accomplished graduates, a personal account of their FIU education and student experience as well as career advice was of profound value to our students. In honor of this event, reserved campus parking was provided and a student ambassador was assigned to each speaker to welcome and escort the visitor around campus. Speakers and a guest were then invited to a reception hosted by President Mark B. Rosenberg on Friday, February 7, 2014 to celebrate FIU’s educational successes. We are confident that visitors experienced FIU’s spirit and vibrancy as never before and we look forward to welcoming our alumni back to our campus and our college next year.
